You will have seen last week “The Big Screen and The Dark Knight in Twinity” and screenshots from the Cubix Opening Party. There has been a fair amount of coverage of this on other sites. I’ll try to link to those as the links come in.

The Cinestar Cubix premiere party was a smashing success! There were Batman and Joker masks worn by Twinizens and Batpod rides in the Event Hall during the dance party. Check out the screenshot album on flikr from EastieBoy82 here for more visuals.
The Big Screen and The Dark Knight in Twinity!
The CUBIX cinema in Alpha City Berlin at Alexanderplatz opens just in time to coincide with the German premiere of The Dark Knight. A new attraction in Twinity is never complete without an opening party!

Time: 19:00 (CET), 13:00 (EST), 01:00 Friday (SST)
Where: Cinestar Cubix
Die-hard Batman fans can snap up stylish merchandise for their avatar, admire the virtual Bat Pod, or take a snapshot in a Batman or Joker mask. Check your Gifts folder for Batman and Joker masks to take home with you.
Take part in our Batman Snapshot Contest to have a chance of winning one grand prize and five runner-up The Dark Knight fan packages. All you have to do is:
* Snap a Dark Knight-themed screenshot
* Send it with your Twinity name to darkknight@twinity.com.
* Deadline: 4 September 2008
The lucky winners will be announced at a party in the virtual CUBIX on 9 September. All the winning screenshots will be on show in CUBIX. So what are you waiting for? Hurry down to Alexanderplatz in Alpha City Berlin and check out the new cinematic attraction in Twinity.
